Bandits Activities In Katsina State Curbed – Governor Dikko Radda

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State said  activities of rampaging armed bandits in some volatile local government areas of the state has drastically been curbed.  Governor Umaru Radda stated this in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed Kaula. emphasizingthat, this was made possible by the support the state government received from the 34 local governments chairmen in the state.  Governor Radda was speaking in his office while meeting with theChairmen at General Muhammadu Buhari (Government) House, Katsina on Monday, December 4,2023, Mohammed Kaula said.  Other issues discussed at the meeting between Governor Radda and the 34 Councils Chairmen according to Kaula includes:- Security, Agriculture, Food Security, and Primary Health care.      The governor applauded the local government chairmen for their joint efforts in addressing insecurity in their respective local government areas.acknowledging that, Armed Banditry in the frontline local government areas had drastically reduced.   Governor Dikko Umaru Radda while speaking on agricultural also reiterated his administration’s commitment to boost Irrigation across the 34 local government areas and assured to distributes improved seedlings and support local farmers with farming equipment in their quest to provide food security in the state.
